Doris provided change management assistance for the Board of Directors and staff during the leadership transition process. Her approach included conducting diagnostic interviews with key staff and Board members, and facilitating a Board retreat to develop a plan of action to strengthen Board effectiveness and performance. Doris’ plan included creating a Board recruitment and orientation process, a Board manual, and committee work plans. Doris then conducted a Board and organizational strategic planning process and wrote a five-year plan that subsequently earned Board approval.
